Explore the various functions of the Digital SLR, allowing you to maximise the use of your camera and move away from using the automatic settings.
Why take this course?
The course is very practical; you will use the camera to capture images whilst testing the various settings available. You will also learn about a variety of approaches and techniques. On completion of the course, you will be more confident and capable in your approach towards the core basics of photography.
What you will experience
You will undertake a project which will provide a strong insight into photographic studies, with the core of the project based on practical and contextual studies.
You will cover a variety of topics, including:
- The DSLR camera
- Aperture Priority
- Shutter Priority
- DSLR Manual Settings
- Composition & Lighting

It is recommended that students have a Digital SLR camera to get the most out of attending this course.
