What you will experience
This course will ensure that learners develop an essential understanding of caring for people with dementia, covering the benefits of positive communication, use of medication and the importance of highly individualised, person–centred care. It is split into manageable units, each which require to be successfully completed to achieve the qualification. Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study. Access to the course is provided online with a personal tutor allocated to provide relevant support.
This course will require you to manage your workload independently, with a basic level of tutor support.
