Why take this course?

You will develop the skills needed when applying different types of wedding, evening and special-occasion makeup on clients. Learn how to carry out these practical activities maintaining effective health, safety and hygiene procedures.

This is a preparation for work unit which is based on capability and knowledge.

What you will experience

Get to grips with different techniques and approaches, effectively enabling you to apply makeup in a high quality and professional manner. This includes the application of makeup using different products and techniques in:

  • Colour correction using concealers
  • Defining face shapes
  • Matching base colour
  • Contouring using highlighting and shading
  • Enhancing eyes using corrective techniques
