Conversational French Intermediate
An intermediate course for those with some knowledge of French.
Why take this course?
You have a basic understanding of French, but feel you can't progress much further without conversation and interaction. This Intermediate French course is perfect for learners with some knowledge of French - perhaps those who have completed the Beginners level course - that wish to build on their existing vocabulary, spoken and written skills in order to progress to the next level.
What you will experience
This course aims to give you the confidence to hold a conversation in French. Students will gain a firm grasp of the French language in a safe, fun learning environment, through conversation and written work. By the end of the course, you should confidently be able to:
• Talk about past events (where you have been on holiday)
• Ask questions (open and closed)
• Talk about your plans or future events
• Talk about the weather
• Describing briefly your daily routines, talking about dates and times, talking about your hobbies and interests.
Students should have completed the Conversational French (Beginners) course prior to undertaking this level of study, or should have some basic previous knowledge of the language.
What you need to know
Students will be asked to purchase a textbook, selected by the tutor, after the first meeting of the class.
Please note, this course is not eligible for fee waiver.
