Conversational Italian Beginner

An introductory course for those who want to learn Italian.


Why take this course?

Learning a new language is not only useful in travel, but opens up a new world of literature and human understanding. This course is designed for learners with no previous knowledge of Italian, but an interest in learning the language. 

What you will experience

You will practice your pronunciation and build a good, basic understanding of Italian and will be introduced to the basics of the language in a safe, fun and structured learning environment.

By the end of the course you should be able to:

  • Convey and request information orally in Italian
  • Understand simple text
  • Understand spoken information

The language will be explored in simple, familiar contexts such as:

  • Your interests, family and friends
  • Leisure and social activity
  • Telling the time, days and dates
  • Weather, travel, directions
  • Shopping, prices, numbers
  • Eating out, food and drink
