This dynamic course is perfect if you wish to eventually pursue a career in the performing arts industry, and acts as a great introduction to basic concepts and skills.
You will work closely with like-minded individuals and our experienced lecturing team, and get the chance to uncover your creative potential in a number of performance and collaborative projects in our custom-built studio theatre.
What you will experience
You will get the opportunity to exercise a wide range of acting and performance skills including voice work, acting through song and how to experiment with different styles. You will also look closely at the professional theatre, how to prepare for auditions and how to correctly study text in a theatrical context.
Applicants should have achieved three passes at National 5, Intermediate 2 or Standard Grade Credit level, or should have relevant working experience. All applicants will be invited to attend an informal interview and audition.
