You can access these resources in person and via the Library+ course area on the College’s virtual learning environment, Blackboard. In addition, Library+ staff are in place to help, and will happily assist you in making the most of your study time by offering support with information skills such as referencing, searching for and appraising information and research skills.
Many of our resources, such as the Library+ Catalogue and the Guide to Harvard Referencing are available for anyone to view, but some resources can only be accessed after logging in to Blackboard.
Aberdeen Altens Campus
The Aberdeen Altens Campus Library+ focuses on specialist engineering, construction and automotive resources to ensure that students based there have all of the information they need to progress in their studies and level of understanding in their chosen subject.
You will also find a self-help IT technical support pod, as well as a direct phone line to the IT Help Zone based in the Aberdeen City Campus. This means that if you have any technical issues or need some advice, help is on hand.

The Aberdeen City Campus Library+ is extremely well-resourced, allowing students to make the most of their study time. The materials available are specifically selected for the different subjects studied at the campus, and a helpful team is on hand to help you should you require any assistance.
